Welcome to A Better Calgary Party
Your Conservative Choice for Calgary
Principled leadership. Local decision-making. A stronger Calgary.
We believe Calgary deserves leadership that is principled, grounded, and focused on the needs of everyday Calgarians.
At A Better Calgary Party, we are committed to delivering real results by returning to the basics: core municipal priorities and essential services that make our city strong.
Putting Calgarians First
We believe responsible government starts with listening to the people it serves.
That means balancing fiscal responsibility with compassion... ensuring tax dollars are spent wisely while continuing to support those who need help.
We believe decisions that affect Calgary's communities should include the voices of the people who live there. That's why we support local decision-making and empowering neighborhoods to have a meaningful role in shaping their future.
We are committed to transparency, accountability, and accessibility at every level of municipal governance.
Leadership Grounded in Conservative Values
Our candidates are not bound by rigid party lines.
Instead, they are expected to represent the best interests of their individual wards while being guided by the shared conservative values of A Better Calgary Party:
Family. Freedom. Environmental Stewardship. Entrepreneurship.
These values reflect the people and spirit that helped build Calgary into the city it is today.
We believe Calgary can protect what makes our city strong while continuing to create opportunities for families, businesses, and communities to thrive.
A Party Built on Participation
A Better Calgary Party is built on participation.
Our policies are shaped from the ground up by candidates responding to the concerns, priorities, and values of our members and their constituents.
We believe the people who live and work in Calgary should have a meaningful voice in the direction of their city.
Because Calgarians should come first. Always.
A Milestone for A Better Calgary
After only eight months as an official municipal party, A Better Calgary Party achieved an important milestone: we successfully won our first candidate race in the City of Calgary.
It often takes years for a new political party to see its first candidate elected.
We are proud to congratulate Mike Jamieson, Councillor for Ward 12, on this achievement.
This is just the beginning.
